How long does it take to setup my shared hosting account, virtual private server (VPS) or dedicated server?

Shared hosting accounts and virtual private servers are setup within 3-hours, and in most cases instantly upon successful billing. Dedicated servers are built-to-order and could take up to 48-hours to release depending on hardware specifications. In some cases we'll have dedicated server specials pre-racked, and when we do, it will be noted on our dedicated servers page.

When will my credit card charged and by whom?

Since all accounts must be verified by Team HOZIO, your credit card will not be charged upon submission of your order. Instead, you will be charged once your order is reviewed and approved just prior to provisioning and setup.

Your initial shared hosting account invoice will be pro-rated based on a first-of-the-month billing cycle. For example, if your monthly total is $10.00 and your account is setup on the 15th, you first invoice/charge will be for $5.00 for the remainder of the month. You will receive your first full invoice for $10.00 on the 1st of the coming month and every month thereafter.

Dedicated server and virtual private server solutions require the full monthly amount to be paid prior to provisioning and setup of services. If your monthly cost is $100.00 and your account is provisioned and setup on the 15th, you will be invoiced $50.00 but charged the full $100.00 monthly amount. Your account will have a $50.00 credit applied towards it. On the 1st of the coming month you will be invoiced for the full $100.00 monthly amount but will only be charged $50.00. Future invoices will be posted on the 1st of each month thereafter and you will be charged your regular monthly amount.

Will you shutdown my service if I exceed my monthly plan allotment?

Never. Here at HOZIO we do not enforce hard-limits, meaning, you can burst past your capacity and/or allotment at any given time. This applies to both hardware and network allotments. We utilize soft-limits only. Once you exceed your monthly plan allotment, you will be notified via email.

Will you invoice and charge my overage costs to my credit card without notifying me?

Absolutely not. Invoices for your pervious months overages will be posted to your account separately on the 2nd of each month. You will have time to review any overage charges associated with your account. Overage invoices will be charged on the 10th of each month for your previous months accruals.

Can I send out unsolicited bulk-mail (SPAM) on your network?

Absolutely not. Any accounts found doing so, and we will find them, will be immediately terminated without notice and subject to legal consequences according to the law.

Do you have any long-term contracts? How about your cancellation policy, how does that work?

Absolutely not. Shared hosting accounts and virtual private servers can be canceled at any time. Dedicated servers require 30-days notice of cancellation.

There are no "tricks" when it comes to service cancellation. Simply contact us and let us know. You won't have to search through endless amounts of information to find some top-secret cancellation form or have any documents notarized. We understand there comes a time where you might have to move on and there will be no awkward circumstances that arise when that time comes.
